The right decision I think. Looked like Ricky was away very smartly, perhaps too smartly but I haven't seen any replays and have heard nowt.

30 sec will be enough to drop him from 1st to 23rd

Right call. Let's remember this the next time someone claims Honda always get away with things.

Descision being appealed. Cammish won't be happy but he definitely jumped the start.

Well if TG got shot of one car then there would be less chances of a #HARD vs #HARD bumpity bump. I wonder how much gravel #HARD have acquired this season when cleaning up the cars post race? Enough to open a small builders yard? 🙄

Stewards have upheld the appeal, so Cammish keeps the win

Can only see that it was overturned on procedural grounds a bit like the ride height incident. Surely a false start (be it jump or position) is black and white?

Same with this investigation afterwards. Why not a penalty during? That seems a little weird? Not that it matters today - it's about title, and it's a TD win anyway so meh. |

I just don’t know why they had to wait till after the race for the decision. Anyway, well done on Cammish winning, there should be more if he comes back next season. Did the Motorbase cars switch around on the last lap btw?

Well if Race 1 was dull, Race 2 was excellent. Really good racing. Well done to Turks for the title.
Not a fan of when a car on full ballast takes a race 2 win. Does kinda make the weight system a bit meh. |

Congratulations to Turks, I'm always a fan of drivers who win through consistency. You could say he's the Scott Dixon of BTCC.
One more race left for Plato to avoid his first ever winless season. Race 3's gonna be a free-for-all with everything wrapped up, should be good. |

I’m gutted Tom didn’t make that final place up, I don’t think it would have changed the overall outcome but it would have been great to have a proper last race.
I think Speedworks need two cars next year, having a team mate clearly helps! |

Congratulations to Colin, but just think what would've happened if Tom didn't fail that ride height test...!
Shame for Jack Goff too. |

ITV just listed Turkington in 12th during the reverse grid draw. That was odd.

Given that he's in a single car, independent team (his choice) Ingrams title challenge has been amazing. That ride height decision really did mess things up unfortunately.
