Casey Stoner will continue on with Ducati in 2008. Wise choice on both sides.

Go Casey, very wise by both sides, could he have a different team mate though, Hayden? IMO Casey would flog him just like Pedrobot is now.

If Hayden's really struggling on that Honda, theres no way to predict how he might go on a Ducati. Stoner moving over done wonders for his performances as the bike apparently complements his driving style, could happen as well for Hayden.
I wouldnt rule Capirossi out though, i think Ducati are going to continue modifying the bike to his style and i'd be surprised if he doesnt outperform Stoner once this year. |

Really have to feel for Nicky, i dont understand why so many people are against him, he's an out an out racer who is being blatantly ripped off in front of everyone, & in all honesty i reckon i'd be jumpin up & down about what's going on in that camp as well if it were me, it's just bloody wrong.
Test results the other day prove he is just as good as Pedrosa, like fair dinkum he beat rossi for a world title what more does he have to do to get a decent bike. |

Finally, Yamaha is finding improvements in top speed. The last tests are very promising as data in this video shows. Probably not that useful in Sachsenring, though.

i do feel for Nicky with how Pedrobot is getting everything before Hayden who is the World Champ, but i think anywhere he goes as long as it's 800cc it won't suit him.
westy tested for Kwaka in place of jaques, maybe just maybe it will happen, he has left his super sport deal open. |

Today there are lots of rumours flying about regarding a additional Suzuki team. Old news I know. But I was told that this team might enter 2 bikes instead of 1, with the second bike being ridden by Ben Spies.
'Suzuki is stalling on a decision, as there is a worry that committing an extra bike might have an impact on the factory team' is being said on the interweb. But if Ducati can enter 4 bikes in Motogp so should Suzuki if you ask me. |

I have no clue what the announcement will be, but I don't think it's a longshot that JT will wind up at a non-Honda team. If he wants a factory ride, it aint going to be at Repsol Honda. And taking Stoner's lead, there are good rides out there outside of Honda.

Only news I read about Toseland is that he's got a new sponsor, Bennetts (bike insurance). Bennetts will also become main sponsor for the British Superbike and World Superbike...
Time will tell if that is the announcement you're refering to. |
