LAMBORGHINI FASTEST GT1!!!! With RUSINOV driving! Wait 'til Kox gets in, it'll take P2 pole! LAMBO!!!! PS: Not happy Ayari/Ortelli have the old aero! Give it to the other 2, and let Ortelli fly. Last edited by minimangler; 4 Apr 2008 at 10:35. |

Haven't seen the WR either.
And why so many laps that are 10minutes +? Is that a fault, or are they going REALLY slowly? And what's going on with Spyker? Both have been out, but the fastest has a lap just over 4minutes in length? |

I know it's very early days, but that 1:34.008 of Verstappen's looks extraordinary. Someone needs to let him know that qualifying isn't until Saturday! |

Surely that gotta be a low fuel hotlap by Verstappan?
He can't be THAT much ahead of the rest of the LMP2 field. |

14 minutes is an impressively slow time. Good work, whoever that was...
And Dunlop, I agree and hope you're right |

Looks like Charouz have again done a great job on the livery... and on the choice of car/engine too, looking quick!

Hopefully this session we will start to see some quicker lap times, back in 2001 the pole for the FIA SCC race was a 1:34.399 and they arent lapping much quicker than that at the moment. I know that the circuit has changed since that time but it hasnt really slowed the circuit down for any of the other series that race at Catalunya so the same should apply for the LMS.

That's not entirely true.
First they reprofiled the long lefthander before the pits, which didn't change laptimes much. But last year they added that ugly chicane before the final corner, which costed the F1 cars about 6 seconds a lap. So if they run the configuration with the chicane, i can understand laptimes not being faster. |

left in the car. He also adds that other teams might need some more time to get up to speed and might not be showing their entire hand. Personally I do think he will keep setting the fastest laps in LMP2, but I don't think the difference will remain this huge. Plus, it's clear that Van Merksteijn is quite a bit slower, as he was only 13th in the second session, so the race might get interesting. |

Looking at the Eurosport TV schedule, it appears we are only getting 45mins of live race coverage.

i must admit the oreca LC70 with last years aero package and the new paintscheme looks bloody fabulous its good to see how fast the little RS spyder is as well, i wonder if kruse, ASM and horag and essex can get on to the pace on the merkstein porsche. |
