So, couple of hours before the 600? Going to go back to preparing the curry for later.
But not until I’ve watched the advert for Grey Men on peacock one more time. Looks dreadful. |

We just got home. There appears to an Italian GP about to start too? I need a nap and then I'm in for some or part of the 600. Checking food options soon....

Really happy for Marcus, but any of the top five winning would have been fantastic in my opinion. I'm just glad that the red flag didn't ruin his race after pulling a gap at the end. It seems like the last few years leading the most laps has nothing to do with winning the race. Just keep yourself clean and in the top 10 and then work your way to the front in the last 20 laps.
I haven't checked the point standings, but with double points available does that put Oward into the lead? Dixon and Power did not have good finishes, but Palou made his way back to the top 10. |

The race had a very slow buildup, but it worked in the end.
Ericsson's zigzagging will draw lots of complaints. |

Why? That's what you do to break the draft. Don't like it, don't fkn watch the series then. That's what has ALWAYS been done at the Speedway and will always be done. Plus it was NOT reaction movement but pre-emptive so even that GARBAGE used in other series would not apply

There in no need for that. This is the second time on this thread you have told someone to find or watch ''another fkn series'', after they have commented on something that happened during the race. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so calm down, it's only a car race. Here's the link to Posting in the F1 forum and it applies to here as well and remember, criticise the post but don't attack the poster. |

Race Result
Overall I thought that was a good race, though I wouldn't say it was a classic and it was good to see someone new win it. However, I was disappointed to see Dixon's chance of possibly winning ended by the drive-thru, as I was hoping the battle between him an O'Ward would go down to the checkered flag. Also good to see that old stalwart TK get on the podium. That was Ganassi's 5th Indy 500 victory and it was Honda's 3rd 500 win in a row. Penske and Chevrolet must be scratching their heads. Marcus Ericsson now takes the lead in the driver's championship, with 226 points, followed by Pato O'Ward in 2nd place with 213, just one point ahead of reigning champion Alex Palou. Knocking on the door is Will Power with 202 points. |
