Agreed - I do find it odd how Autosport hasn't covered the DeLeon news yet, however.

Motorsport News has Gamble in PCCGB in a 911 run by Century.

If it's not WSR then I am truly truly stumped as to who's available for them. Unless Gamble is another where his primary sponsor being a car care company doesn't fit with WSRs existing sponsors.

Could still be a seat(s) available in BTCC as Jade is still pushing her "10 for 10" fund raising push on socials.

Would expect this is the 3rd PMR seat. Which I don't think we've had anyone solidly linked to , but that's standard for PMR as they do like to surprise people.

Disappointing to be honest although can see where he's coming from. Really hoped to see him in the fourth WSR Beemer but it looked less and less likely recently. Hope to see Gamble back in the BTCC one day, after a really good rookie campaign back in 2022 I suppose he's got a bit of an unfinished business here.
Meanwhile completely lost as to who might be in the fourth WSR seat. Probably someone with much more money than talent unfortunately... |

That's really blown open the third WSR seat.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised at this point if Crees is in with a shout of getting it |

I think the thing about Crees is (and it's fine, it makes the world work) is that he's at a point in his driving career where part of it is he wants the exposure.
We've seen drivers come into the BTCC to run at the back, or the rear of the midfield quite happily as long as they get to sign autographs on a Sunday morning, and race a bit. He's had that in BTCC, there was an element of it in Brit GT and certainly in Porsche Supercup, but in TCR (even the world tour, never mind the UK series) it just doesn't exist. For a gentleman driver it's only worth it as a placeholder for a cheaper 2025 BTCC seat. Just my opinion mind! |

Crees has just confirmed he is no longer in the picture for a drive this year and may take a year out.

Heard yesterday at Donington that Jac Constable isn't going back to TCR UK. With his time as a Power Maxed development driver (and his one off at Croft before falling ill,) racing with PMR in TCR, and just missing out on the drive that Hand got in 2022 by a few quid (which is why he entered TCR so late that year) I wonder if here is a possibility he might be close to having the funds for that PMR drive again?

Ahh of course!
Btw, obviously it's totally impossible but it'd be very interesting to see some of the best Supercars drivers in BTCC, really curious how they'd fare... never going to happen though! In reality, don't want any panicky scaremongering to start, but wonder if it's possible that WSR will be left with just three cars after all. Really no idea who the fourth driver might be! |

Perhaps a GT racing convert, a wealthy Am maybe. Can’t think of too many in touring car circles that aren’t accounted for / can afford it? Not least being ‘WSR calibre’, although I’m sure the money is a more important factor!
