Sorry they're not online anywhere. Racing is from lunchtime as there is a sprint in the morning.

It makes it difficult to plan with so little info, I think its a sprint in the morning, qualifing at 13.20 and racing from 15.00 ish
Can anyone give insight into the entry list for the afternoons racing?
thanks

Yeah, without knowing or being able to find out whats racing Im not loving the idea of driving 2hrs on the off chance its going to be good racing? I am probably spoilt as I am used to the 750 who have full entry lists and timetbales on their website 10 days beforehand.

Cheers Suze but all I could see from those links was entry lists for 1 race and no timetable or details of the other races?

Amongst the entries are a couple of V12 Jaguars, a Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Capris, Rover V8s etc, plus our local tin tops and intermarque league (formerly sports/saloons) with a very interesting entry.

Stick a request for info in the Classic Touring Car Racing Club forum public area as I am sure someone will come up with an entry list for you. It is annoying though and I am not sure why some clubs are so coy about publishing an entry list.

Rod Birley should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Thermex classic/historic saloons have two races (about 16 entries received, including Morris Minors, Minis, Anglias, Lotus Cortinas), Group one saloons have about 16 including two 5.3 litre Jaguars (Brian Stevens and David Howard) three Capris, three Rovers. Pre 93 similar entry (includes a Cosworth Sierra, BMW M3, Jaguar, Rovers etc.), Intermarque (formerly sports/saloons, includes 4 Tigers, 2 Caterhams, 4 silhouette specials, a Subaru, Minis and tin tops) this is listed on the BARC south east website, Post Historics (includes the two Jaguars, Neil Bray's Ford Capri, various Escorts and Dolomites). All races are 15 minutes long. There is a morning sprint which includes Liam Doran in his father's Ford Fiesta supercar.
Afternoon qualifying is from approx 13.15, with racing from 14.50.
Hope this helps. Admission is £12 for adults, programme is £2, plus there are grandstands at Lydden now.

Still seems so wrong to see that!

I'm there obviously. If people come down then keep an eye out for me wandering around with the camera and say hello

We're not coy...but the guy with access to the website to post stuff is at work...well actually he's on his way down from Preston to Essex, before coming to Lydden tomorrow.

However I have attached a PDF of the race finals, sorry I couldn't do it earlier...I was at work without access to the finals (remember the people running this meeting are volunteers and have day jobs!)

Jon ,

I can't make the meeting myself, due to being stuck at work today. Any chance you could take some photos of Brian Goodwin in his Fiesta Supersport in the Group One Touring Cars.

I was going to race with the Group Ones in my Supersport, but I ended up staying in Rallycross. Unfortunately the car has now been sold.

Probably the best race of the day was the classic group ones. David Howard just snatched the lead on the last lap. A move which earnt him a "drive of the day" award. Jeremy Knight also gained a similar award for his antics in his very rapid Austin A35.
