Neal Bates has signed on to do the QLD 500 and Bathurst with Cameron McLean. Neal aint too bad a steerer on the black stuff, should be a decent combination..

I'm sure that is a part of hte deal that Neal has to mow Cameron's lawn for a year, but if he screws up at Bathurst, he will have to deal with the wrath of the blades....

My neighbour once settled a dispute with another neighbour by mowing his lawn with a Triumph.

Have to say the standard of co-driver's available each year is getting less.I reckon the days are gone where there will be two top line drivers in one car, with the championship counting like it does now, and with Formula Ford and Holden grids dropping, soon there won't be anyone left to co-drive and the team manager's will have to have a steer. How about Morris teaming with Big Kev, Fred Gibson back behind the wheel with Lowdnes, Walkinshaw out of retirement to partner Skaife.

Or get Tom to force Bernoldi on Skaife

But really, the days of having two top line drivers per car has really only come about in the last 5 years....prior to that I guess there weren't that many top line cars, but top line drivers as well. I guess the guys that can really pick are the decent drivers in the Konica series, although I doubt that they have the depth after the first half a dozen cars is there to fill top line drives.
