Rombles1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
XXXX Angels or VB Challenge - which would you rather see?

Which would you rather see between races - the XXXX Angels shaking their stuff or the VB Challenge (renamed as the XXXX Challenge to suit the new platform sponsors, I guess) ?

How about another race, for a class of cars that don't all look and sound exactly the same.

That was my thougth as well, but that will never happen as VESA dont want to show the "fans" what real racing is!

.... hence why they alienate the female component of the crowd by subjecting them to "those whores" (to quote my wife). Don't get me wrong, I love grid girls, and have been known to detour over to the odd bikini parade or two. They are not a necessary part of family entertainment though. I also enjoy the occasional trip to the Crazy Horse - but I wouldn't take my wife and 10 year old son there with me (well, I will when he is 18 ). Given the choice, I also would not subject them to the XXXX Angels. They both used to actively seek out the VB Challenge to watch, though.

you need to have a good chat to your wife, possibly give her a good slap and tell her to wake up to herself. . The XXXX angels are just a group of female dancers paid to dance to music. They are hardly whores, they certainly dont dress like hookers.

Still i have seen them now, dont need to see them again

movies are better then mags mate.

i think the VB challenge was more entertaining every dance looks the same to me as i have an untrained eye to that stuff but the Holden V Ford burrnout comp with the drivers was heaps entertaining and got you in and was different every time.

That aside, in all fairness, the XXXX Angels are paid dancers. XXXX has picked that as a strategy as it gives them something to market between rounds, as it is seemingly a bit hard to do burnouts in pubs.

They are on a 12-month contract, so in all likelihood, there will be a new group next year.

Having had the fortune of spending a bit of time with the Angels - Thanks Lion - they are a pretty down-to-earth group. Sure, they are still learning about motorsport to a degree, but their passion for their work is pretty high.

Marketability is where it is at, and the XXXX Angels might just pop up at your local. I know, I know.....some of you will whinge and moan but I thought it made a nice change to seeing the repetitiveness of burnouts - both utes and bikes. Now we only have to tolerate the bikes.

Besides, the VB Challenge seemed much like the beer.....pretty plastic

I'd like to see more support events.

At least the VB Challenge was motorsport. In fact you could say it was motorsports at the grass roots level.

A Motorkhana.

The only problem with the VB Challenge was the venues. Most punters missed the action as they were staged on the front straight. One must also remember that the grass roots motorsport is more competitor based and not really held for spectators, although they are welcome. But kudos the the V8 boys for spicing it up and presenting it to a larger audience.

Thought provoking.

I thought the VB Challenge was alright. I never really understood what the point was though having seen it several times.

XXXX Angels, well, they made me blush. No question they are good at what they do but I question it might be a bit much for the rest of the fans.

Girls are nice & all but how much can you really see from a hundred metres away so I'd say the cars are more entertaining for those at the track even tho I usually saw them as a chance to go for a wander.
