And me too. The circuit and MSV put on a great day. All the staff were once again, absolutely brilliant with us. Also, the weather couldn't have been better.

The driving was really good too. Everyone was being polite and helping others out on track with plenty of room to overtake on the straights.

An ace day all round!

Thanks for the passenger ride mate. You're confidence with that car is fantastic to witness. Wish I had that level of grip too. Maybe by next year....

Oulton Marshals trackday

I also really enjoyed my first track day today, Jonny Palmer has made my day!! Keith was marshalling on Knickerbrook waving and urging me on. really put a smile on my face.
Great to see the Oulton and Anglessy crew again, good banter great well behaved driving.
Luv it!!!!

I'd like to add my thanks to the crew at Oulton too!

Brilliant day and didn't completely shred the tyres as I thought I was going to, and the pads are good enough for another two days by my estimation.

I'll be emailing DrJP shortly.

I've got some pictures I've put on my website, but I wouldn't say they meet the criteria of 'good'.

I've just emailed Jonathan Palmer to say thanks for such a superb day. I'd also like to thank Julian Brown for bringing his new fiat 500 Abarth for the marshals to have rides in. He took me out in the car before he left, and the performance is amazing for a 1400 turbo! My Clio 172 couldn't catch it when he got it wound up!
Everyone had a superb day and nobody had any major problems. The track was dry all day so there was plenty of grip.
The staff at Oulton were all really helpful and really seemed to enjoy the day.

Photos

Ok folks, here's a link to my photos. Sadly I ran out of batteries and couldn't take any more.
I'm no photographer so the quality isn't great but hopefully you'll get a pic of yourself on track.
If anyone has any of me and my trusty blue Nissan, that's great.

Fantastic day, thanks to all at Oulton, I achieved my aim of passing a car or two, although they were on the slowing down lap and I hope I got out of everyones way quickly enough, always seemed to get someone behind me entering fousltons or druids! (Silver Vauxhall Astra)

Email off to JP as we speak!

It was the only one properly in focus as I couldn't pan fast enough to keep up with the rest.

Only kidding

Don't think so. The Nissan Silvia (S12) parked in it due to a breakdown and the Escort spun exiting Old Hall but straightened up and on he went.

I had two wheels on the inside of Island whilst over/undertaking another car.

The outside wheel was so loaded up that I didn't even notice until my passeger started squeezing over towards my side of the car.

I'll try not to use so much space when overtaking next time
