2009 Garage Visit - Speedy Team Sebah
SPEEDY RACING TEAM SEBAH
Official Team Website Before going into any detail regarding the visit, I'd first like to extend enormous thanks on behalf of us all to Bart and Hugh Hayden, Alex Pesci and Steve Clerici for their extremely kind and generous invitation. Thanks also to my pal Malcolm (Cracknell) who has played no small part in arranging this. Thank you Malc! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The visit, as in 2008, will take place on the Friday afternoon, with precise timings to be finalised in due course. There will be 20 places available for two groups of 10. Given the profile of our hosts and the cars involved, I'm anticipating huge demand. With that in mind, I suspect there may be less places available for friends and family than there were in 2008. If you would like to attend, please register your interest on this thread (listing any friends/family who are attending the race with you and would also like to be considered for a place). Exciting stuff and a huge privilege for those of us who will be lucky enough to attend! |

First off James, many thanks to you and Malcolm for putting in the effort on this.
It sounds tremendously appealing and my wife and I (so total of two) would be very keen to come along. |

Wow! This fantastic news and a brilliant effort all round!
Put me down for me + 1 same as last year, and if you need any 'security' against any pesky unwanted gatecrashers I'll volunteer for that too! |

Thank you very much James - count me in! I'd like to say hold a place for our 'Chief Tourist', but the realistic likelihood is that I'll be solo....

That is a truly epic invitation and as demand is likely to be high and I get privelidged access when they are in the UK at Silverstone, I will pass my place up to another less fortunate than myself.
This is a visit not to miss for those who want to get to see how a team works. Marshalling does have its good side too apart from watching the action without fences in the way. |

Thanks for all your efforts James, if possible I would like 4 places but if that is not possible then 2 would be gratefully appreciated.

Having looked back to 2008, I think we numbered 26 in all, although 2 places were taken by someone who has contributed just one post to the forum and that was simply to request a couple of places on the Embassy garage visit! |

I'm sure everyone read the first post on this thread, but just in case there is any misunderstanding, priority will be given to contributing 10Tenths forum members. At present, there are just 10 on the list (which means we have space for 10 more).
If it transpires that we can accommodate some guests, I'll need to come up with a way to distribute them fairly (minefield and crash helmet are words that immediately spring to mind. It may come down to names in a hat! ) |

As long as Helen (Elaviel) and I are included, the other 2 places would be nice but I understand the problems. Both of the my other Guest attended the Embassy visit last year even though Kevin on his sticks took some time to get through the mass of people and arrived late. See you in 5 weeks. Simon |
