Btcc brands hatch 3/4 oct

I know were all just unpacking and cleaning up after a great weekend at Rockingham, but can anyone tell me where the campsite is at brands? Are there any shower/toliet blocks? Can our two friends say with us? (they are both marshals but will be watching. And providing a tent or motorhome for us.

Regards mark

Brands Hatch on Google should give you all the info.

There appears to be some discussion as to which site to use. I think that if you head for the campsite marked "Marshal's Campsite" then you can't go far wrong.

I was looking forward to this weekend but I was taken to A and E on tuesday because of a problem with my lungs! Everything's better now though! Well...slightly!

So I won't be marshalling but I'll be on the other side of the fence doing photography!

Dress to impress at Brands Hatch and support Breast Cancer Care

quoted from the Brands website:

Former Spice Girl Melanie C has donned an all-pink outfit to encourage motorsport fans to dress up for the season finale of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch this weekend (3/4 October).

Mel, whose brother Paul O'Neill races a Sunshine.co.uk-backed Honda Integra in the BTCC, posed for the photo to promote the charity initiative by series title sponsor HiQ.

HiQ is hoping to encourage as many BTCC spectators as possible to wear pink this weekend in an attempt to raise money for Breast Cancer Care, whilst also leaving a visual image to remember to mark the end of a fantastic season of racing.

"With my brother Paul racing in the BTCC, I am often trackside to cheer him on," said Mel. "When HiQ asked for some help in promoting their pink day on October 4, I was only too pleased to lend my support."

Several teams will also be supporting the cause including Team Aon, whose driver Tom Chilton will be dying his trademark blonde hair pink for the occasion!

This weekend's BTCC season finale will feature a three-way battle for the 2009 championship, plus title-deciding support races from the Ginetta Junior Championship, Formula Renault UK, the Ginetta G50 Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

Cheers Nick. Was a great day out on Post 16 with a good team.

Watched the third BTCC race last night when I got home. Didn't think the coverage showed how exciting the first part of the race was, the closeness of the leaders, who would be first into view out of Hawthorns before charging down to us at Westfield.
