Silverstone camping

Just a quick question, before I fall victim to my own assumptions. Can anybody tell me if camping at Silverstone is in the same place as last year...i.e. outside of Copse. Seeing as I'm there the next couple of weeks I figured I ought to know.

Also, does anybody know if I'm likely to be allowed to leave my caravan there for the week, and who would I need to speak to if I wanted to?

Silverstone camping is still on the outside of Copse.

I'm too local to camp / caravan, but I understand that there is no storage facility (even short term) this year due to the building site. Penny has made some arrangements with a nearby commercial site for some support for her team - suggest a call to her in the morning to see what she can steer you to?

Thanks for the info (you too kipper). TBH, If I have to move it at all, then I may as well take it with. It's not a big deal anyway as it's not far to go and TBH, I was probably not going to leave it anyway....just mulling the idea around in my head. I might ask around at sign on or something.

Yes, camping is outside Copse... yes camping area was a bit muddy! I could not get motorhome on so parked on road outside and ran cable over to hook up. Then moved across to sign on.
There was a hook up for all to use!
