Karringer Formula Vee restoration
We are currently restoring a Karringer 1972-ish Formula Vee but what we have is incomplete and we could do with more information and/or parts. Is there anyone who could give me a bit of information?

Hmm...I first came across Karringer as Vee engine builders but the ubiquitious Jaap Luijendijk raced one in approx. 1972. I have a photo somewhere.
Try the Historische Formel Vau website. http://www.formel-vau.eu |

Horst Karr, who gave the name to karringer, was a well known engine builder in the "high time" of formula vee in the ealy seventies.
He als o built a small number of race cars, but he had some very famous pilots, so swissman Marc Surer and flying finn Keijo (Keke) Rosberg raced in karringer cars and with karringer engines. He lived near Stuttgart and unfortunately died in 2006. With best regards Ancar |
