BMMC Direct Debit Mandate

Hi guys,

Just a quickie, I'm filling in my BMMC registration form, I've got to the direct debit mandate and I'm stuck. Admittedly its been a long time since I've filled one of these out. Can anyone tell me what the "Reference Number" section is for? Its below the bank address details. Is it my reference, the BMMC's reference or something completely different?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Reference no = BMMC membership no which is on your BMMC membership card and should look similar to this: AB1234.

Ahh I see, so the fact I'm a newbie and not a member yet (sorry, should have put this in my original post) I should just leave it blank?

Hiya Michael, welcome to the fold.

I've just been having a look for you on the BMMC website. As far I can make out you send the Direct Debit form in together with your BMMC membership application form. And because you wouldn't/won't have a membership number, I would think you'd leave that part blank. I'm presuming they would fill it in for you on setting up the Direct Debit.

That's the page I found it on.

Hope this helps you,

Elliot.

Thanks very much for that, much appreciated!

I've just had a look at the page and think that you're right, I'll leave it blank.

Thanks again to you both.
