Mr Pye drove very well.. Controlled his race and his car energy very well.
Mr Ekstrom was a rocket.. That #10 had a killer engine, easily one of the quickest in a straight line all day! My choice would be Frosty. Finally finally managed to take the blowtorch from the boys behind, and finished off better than them, at the biggest race of the year! Awesome! |

I agree, Frosty holding Whincup off for that long must have taken balls of steel.... mind you Whincup didn't really attack until right at the end, and he threw in the towel pretty quickly once that one move didn't come off.
Ekstrom... never been to the circuit before, new to the cars... wow! Wonder who will get him next year? |

Frosty's "don't argue" on Whincup at Griffins surely at least worth a notable mention

Frosty, that last stint brilliant
Ekstrom , Rookie of the race, briiliant driving, not scared to race Scot Pye, Flew below the waffling heads(C7 Commentryteam), brougth it home in 6th, similar lap times to those ahead of him at the end |

I just realised something. Morris drove with Pye...therefore...
Their nickname for the day should have been Punch'n'Pie Back on topic, Frosty's last stint was awesome. For that alone he'd have to get the gong. |

Brighty drove well all weekend, shame he couldn't get a podium for the bjr guys. Not a bad effort for basically a privateer team fighting all factory cars at the end and with andy jones as co driver....

Frosty
Nerves of steel til the end. Have always been a fan, but have a new level of respect after that last hour. I figured Whincup would wait til the last lap to try the pass. 1 shot at it, if he pulls it off there's be no time for Frosty to re-address. Loved hearing Frosty say that that was the moment he knew the trophy was FPRs. |

How about a bit of recognition for Richo, he put the car in the position for Frosty to win, Frosty even admitting that Richo was doing a better job.

Pye was awesome, Morris drove ok too. I thought Andy Jones did a good job.
Very impressed with Premat, had good pace all day, unfortunate about the fuel problem |

Also , I thought Jason Bright's final stint was a brave effort, in a car that simply had no-more to give
