Mercs had the edge today so they get my vote, but in such a dominant car Bottas must be worried why he was so far behind

Mercedes, not just for their performance and strategy but also for improvement over past years (and improvement over everyone's expectations).

Tricky one this - struggling to think of a team that got a decent result with both cars:
Mercedes - Bottas was too far off Lewis. Ferrari self destructed again. Red Bull - Ricciardo seemed off the pace. Renault were pretty anonymous. McLaren got a good result with one car, the other nowhere. RPFI - Perez seemed determined to make sure they got nothing. Haas - Grosjean not paying attenttion, KMag off the pace. Torro Rosso - meh. Nothing of note going on. Williams - dreadful Sauber - hmmm... yep they get the nod I think - one in the points and one not far off. |
