18 cars set for this event...

It will be interesting to watch the TCR cars on one of the fastest tracks in the country...

And to see what the line up looks like for the event, with a 2nd GWR Hyundai rumoured for the running, and a potential 3rd Wall Racing Civic joining the field

Who will win?

If I've read the tea leaves correctly, a long-time Tickford Racing enduro pilot could be getting a start.

There's also chat that several former AusGT gentlemen drivers are making serious enquiries.

If you flip the tea leaves over, there is also a very well known long established team that has had entries across many categories involved in running a car or 2 along with a current Australian Motorsport man-about-town

Is there an intention at Phillip Island to run the cars on a sighting lap, and switch tyres front to rear prior to the start? It became a convention in SuperTouring all those years ago...

Driver of the second of MPC's new pair of Audis expected to be confirmed Wednesday according to the series website. Anything known yet?

Hamish Ribarts in the #22 MPC Audi, the second of the new pair is still a TBA. 18 expected on the entry, with the Walden Hyundai missing

GT tops the first session easily, admittedly with fresh rubber, and the wife not far behind him in fourth with the same rubber. Hmmm... Maybe I could have phrased that better. ;-)

I think so. And this is a great idea, specially for the foreign users.

Another great race today. Quite strange to see a Giulietta winning at Phillip Island, a great comeback for the championship leader and a good podium for the Renault (does "Moffgane" sound good? ).
