imo, a move for the best. wtih fiasc and fiagt, there really was no place for elsm and it only served to fracture sportscar racing further and take panoz's focus away from alms, which should be his only priority right now |

Yes well, no surprise really.
Except that if you want to race an LMP900, GTS or GTP in Europe, you have to take the steamer to America now. |

I think the only prototypes that had commited to it were Guld Audi and Pescarolo. Remember that if Henri's victory hadn't stood in Portugal, then overall victory would have gone to a GTS Saleen. Having said that, ALMS isn't exactly overabounding with prototypes, with only Audi, Panoz, and Barbour/Panoz (I think) running the full year with Caddilac commited to a handful. (Though if the new Caddy is quick I suspect that might change).
