Nick vs Felipe
Which of the Sauber drivers will come out top?
Peter Sauber has said Massa is faster than Kimi and we all saw Kimi give Nick a run of his money. |

Nick all the way.
Massa is no Kimi. |

In theory, impossible to say, as to me, Massa is an unknown quantity. But surely it has to be Heidfeld? He has massive experience, is known to be fast given a decent car and (IMO) really should have been McLaren's man this year. Above all else, he really needs to perform this year. If he still hopes to graduate to one of the top 2 or 3 teams (should a vacancy arise!) he really has to outperform his second consecutive rookie team mate. Otherwise, I think he's going to miss the boat.

My expectations aren't as high as a lot of peoples when it comes to Massa, but will be happily proved wrong. Heidfeld will be a good benchmark.

Definitely Nick. I'm sure Massa will be quick, but Nick will have the upper hand.

I think that this is gonna be the closest team battle in the field. Nick is good and reports from Sauber suggest Massa is VERY quick.
Personally i'm a fan of both and if they fulfill their potential they can both be superstars. |

I'll take Nick. I was quite impressed with Nick last year in the face of all the Kimi-hype. He just went about his business and did a really good job.
While Massa does appear to be quick, I predict he'll be spending a bit of time in gravel traps and crash barriers. Should be interesting though. |

Nicolas, all the way! He's young, fast and has a big chip on his shoulder concerning the McLaren deal. He'll feel he's got something to prove.
Massa has been throwing it off the circuit quite a lot during testing. How many laps will he complete in Australia?? |

I dont know much about Massa but his lap times seem impressive - especially for a new comer. When Raikonnen came into F1, everyone was looking at him to fail - now when Massa is entering F1 - everyone expects him to be better than Raikonnen! Funny how things work So he does have some preassure on him which us why I think Heidfeld will do better in the races - especially in the early part of the season - however I think Massa will beat Heidfeld in qualifying. Think in terms of talent, Massa is better but at this point - obviously Massa has no experience sp Heidfeld should be quicker.

Fast Nick Heidfeld will get the better of his teammate. And prove that he's a better driver then Kimi and that Ron Dennis has gone senial.
Having said that, Massa got the skills to pay the bills. |

Massa seems to be enthusiastic enough to win.
And comparing Nick and Massa, if according to what i read is true, is very much like comparing Ralf and Montoya the same time last year - in that, one is cool, calm and analytical in his approach, the other is racer's attitude all the way...Just race it out and push to the max. If Massa proves that what is reported is what he is, i'd have one more racer to cheer for! Wish him well... |
