SJ Spode should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Catalunya Top 6 Predictions

With a couple of weeks to go, we might as well get started on this. So what do people think; another Peugeot lock of the podium?????

I think it's going to be tough for any non-French car to figure. As well as Peugeot, Citroen are back and even Jesus Puras will be running in a privateer Xsara (the one Bug drove in Corsica I think), so conceiveably there could be an all-French Top 6.

If it's wet then the Pirelli guys will be up there; and I expect Solberg to go quick (just keep it on the road Petter), Tommi also. At Ford Sainz will be pumped for his home event & I can't see Colin's finger slowing him down too much.

Right, with the Citroen's back in action, I'll go for this:

1. S Loeb (First official win after the Monte shambles)
2. G Panizzi
3. P Bugalski
4. P Solberg
5. T Makinen
6. C Sainz (If he recovers from his big testing crash)

I'm plumping for the tried and tested tarmac specialists for this rally, but knowing my luck with predictions, they will probably all retire on the first day !!!!!

Apparently the rally weather forecast is for fine, dry weather.

So for Michelin

But Pirelli

Predictions halfway through the rally don't really count Robytis, but we'll see what happens anyway
