20 years without Gilles
Today it makes 20 years since perhaps the best amnd most exciting driver ever, Gilles Villeneuve, died after his last flight in an F1 car at Zolder.
Isn't he the greatest? well, not all drivers have statues and streets OUTSIDE his own country... |

Unfortunately, the newspapers of his own country have completely ignored this historic date. Half a page for a dead American horse, but not a word for St. Gilles.

Liz I think maybe a letter to the editor might be in order.

I'm sure he's been remembered everywhere by F1 fans around the world.
A truly sad day for motorsport in general. |
