serverbrainfailure should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
They do appreciate us, and what a meeting!

Time for a public thankyou to the Darlington & District Motor club for their organisation of the meeting at Croft last weekend. (particular thanks to the Northern Sports & Saloon Car championship - best racing in Britain guys, keep it up!)

For those of you who didn't make it up to Croft, YOU MISSED OUT!!!
fabulous meeting (even given the rain) great racing - and by goodness did they show their appreciation of their marshals!

Not only did they given us a couple of very nice presents at sign-on, but we were "summoned" to the club marque at lunchtime (expecting an extra briefing or similar) and they had got all the competitors together just so that they could personally thank all the marshals - and then gave us a T-shirt each!
add to that the BBQ on saturday night, guarenteed lunch breaks - and finishing on time. I have to say that in 7 years of marshalling - this was the best meet I've ever been to - or even heard about!

Thanks again

Chris Scott

This type of gratitude is not unknown, the MG's are an example. BUT it is always very welcome...
