BARC Oulton Park - 27th September

Time for this one to kick off I think..

Group 1 Tourings are there, as will be my orange Mazda RX7, but on this occasion more expertly peddled by Gerry Marshall.

At least seat adjustments are minimal.

I'll be there, but for a hopefully relaxing weekend with no driving!

Good idea - I trust Gerry is a member and registered ! See you there - awaiting schedule but it seems we are not at either end of the day - wonder what the entries are like ?

One can assume that as acting Membership Secretary I have that one covered Jos..

Anyhoo, no idea on numbers - I understand that BARC NW usually send it all down the week before the meeting. I think you can guarantee a decent entry for G1 and CT though.

I'll be making my one and only CTCRC appearance at Oulton. It'll also be nice to see Gerry again.

stacey, a belated thank you to you and fellow racers for a fine days racing at Pembrey over the bank holiday weekend. Watched you all on the Monday and can't wait until you get to Brands in 2004 for more fun.

I'm umming and ahhing as to whether to come down to Oulton for the last time of the year, or to venture to 3 Sisters for some karting. If someone offers me a cup of tea in the paddock though, it may help sway me!

AFAIK the CTCRC hostility unit will have the makings for tea and coffee. But as I haven't been out this year it may have changed.

The club bus will of course have Tea and Coffee and Biscuits as usual, manned in as friendly a way as poss by our Groover from Vancouver Pete Hallford.

Further, there is catering from breakfast onwards for club people and their acquaintances!

Excellent news. (Re both the above posts)

Just don't mention the words "wheel" and "nuts" to Peter H. It may change his mood slightly.

Have received confirmation of entry but no schedule yet so not sure if we have to make the trip Friday night or Saturday morn. The thought of free brekkie for this meeting and for the 2004 season may just persuade me to stay in Classic Thunder for another year.

Look forward to seeing everyone.

Final instructions arrived this morning. What a great meeting that's going to be - the perfect antidote to this weekend's TOCA.........real racing!

All these offers of cups of coffee......it's unheard of!

I wonder if you'll get the same warm welcome at the BTCC Race Centre this weekend.

It'll be nice to see you all at Oulton....look out for me.....I'll be in orange!

Has anyone got any spare tickets?

I should have been racing my spare car in CT, but some irish guy waved loads of cash under my nose. So i took it!

So it looks like its next year until i get to race my corolla, thats been taking ages to build.

Thanks
