On what basis are you judging?
Surely there are a handful of "top" teams (ie recent race/champ[ionship winners) like Carlin, Docking, Manor, HiTech and Fortec ... but if you could choose, why pick one over another? Engines? Results? Engineers? Team spirit? Price? Team mates? Sense of humour? Would you say it's true that there is probably very little between any of these top teams, and a large part of a decision process is whoever you "gel with" personally? I have heard this, but I'm not sure. Remy Martin does the best PR in the cognac world, and is therefore the most generally widely regarded, and therefore the most expensive (reassuringly expensive) but is actually not a patch on the lesser-known Hine brandy. Thus do eggs become chickens. So, did Carlin win this year because they had the best drivers, and therefore you think they're the best team?? |

Piquet Sports!!! No database, no knowlegde of the tracks and lots of pressure for having Piquet Jr on board.
Great setup and engine mapping. |

Beeing Swedish, may I ask why Performance Racing is not on the list. They are the only surviving Scholarship class team from 2001 the year they started in the category. They are hard working, nice people and very skilled.

Carlin!
What could/would British F3 be without them? |

Good call Sile ( but that could be taken as silly) WSR were the top team in their day but considering 50% of Carlin have worked at WSR at some time maybe Carlin are WSR reincarnated. As for ADR one good year every now and then( 1990-2002) should keep them in business until 2014. Roll on the next good year!

This thread should be titled "What is your favourite BRITISH F3 Team".
In which case, Carlin is the stand out. |

This is a very difficult poll for someone who has followed F3 for as long as I have. I'd struggle to get it down to a shortlist - in alphabetical order, ADR, Carlin, Manor & T-Sport. However, I would strongly advise against going drinking with any of the four!
