The car (There was only ever one) was sold fairly recently after sitting in a warehouse gathering dust since its last race - haven't heard anything about race plans though I'm afraid

I actully saw it win it 1st race back at Silverstone in 1999, when it won the British GT Round that supported Mini 40. Am I right in thinking that it then went to the states and raced in a few ALMS rounds?
edit The answer to my question is yes - just checked the records and it race at Laguna Seca, where it finished 9th overall Last edited by rdjones; 13 Dec 2003 at 22:01. |

can this car be saved? 9th overall, surely can be improved and developed into a podium or winner, not a bad start...
what was wrong with the car? |

Saw it race at Silverstone. Boy did it look a million Dollars. Lurid paintwork. However, all I can remember of the driver line up was Richard Dean, can't recollect the other driver.

It was the most beautiful car in that Laguna Seca race!
What makes the 9th place overall be even more stunning is the fact that the car was partially assembled in the pits. right before practice (I am not sure why... was it shipped completely disassembled?) and it suffered a lot with overheating. |

The crew at Laguna was probably the most friendly group I have run across at a race. They were working hard into the night and still invited us in to look at the car and have a beer from their high-dollar syrofoam cooler.
Great group. Wish they had been able to keep going |
