Testure should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
XPrize!

I dunno if this has been mentioned in an existing thread yet, but this was announced yesterday and I haven't seen it here yet... Apparently, Champ Car and the X Prize are involved with each other: http://www.xprize.org/press/release_049.html

Now, unless you're a rampaging nerd such as my good self , you might not have heard of the X Prize. It's basically a $10 million prize for the first independent person/project/group who can get a man in space. As far as I'm concerned it's about the most staggeringly cool thing on the planet. According to the press releases, the rockets will have Champ Car logos on them.

It is, to say the least, a little odd that the series is being a sponsor, rather than the other way around, but I think it's really good exposure.

Do you have to be able to get them back?

I was thinking the exact same thing. Perhaps we could start a campaign to shoot TG into space if it's only got to be one way.

Its an exchange of Press Releases. No cash involved I'd bet. Somewhat similar to Motorock sponsoring Trans-Am last year. There was no money, an empty shell corp.
