The Big Question
Just seen an interesting article on Crash.net about more UK viewers watching WSBK than MotoGP at the weekend!!
MotoGP has the top bikes, a range of manufacturers and top names but WSBK just has better racing (in my opinion)! Which did anyone enjoy the most at the weekend and which series do you prefer in general? |

WSB was better to watch, bikes more sideways and riders struglging to cope with conditions.
GP was a different sort of interest, two man race but the effort both were putting in made the action compelling! |

I prefer MotoGP, but what I really like is the whole package of three races (MotoGP, 250cc, 125cc). IMO is the best offert in motorsport nowadays.

MotoGP, but only just. They are very different, IMO, but I enjoy watching both. However, I saw the WSB just after MotoGP last weekend, and I was still so high after seeing Rossi win that the superbikes seemed a bit flat

i wonder if the WSBK has the same following in Italy as it does in UK(and Australia&NZ) .. i think riders are the main reason that wsbk is so strong in UK . and although WSBK has some strong Italian drivers .. it;s not MotoGP ..

We don't get WSBK on free-to-air anymore. But my favourite is 125cc racing. Brilliant little machines...

The top British riders are in MotoGP now though - realistically, Toseland's inconsistant displays so far suggest that he can't match Hodgson, Haslam has much more to learn, and Walker has never quite maximised his potential.

MotoGP by a mile, get three (often brilliant) races instead of just one.

There are two races every weekend in World Superbikes, plus either World Supersports or AMA (in the US) - get your facts straight.

I'm a GP fan, although I've only really watched bikes since 2000 or so and never really got into WSB to be honest. I follow F1, F3000, ChampCar, IRL, WRC, MotoGP and some other sports as well, so I've got to draw the line somewhere as to how long I'm gonna be sitting infront of the TV watching sports. I'm not so keen on the two race format and the best riders in the world are obviosly in MotoGP and mainly coming up through 125 & 250cc.

Basically the thing that kills GP and WSB for me is the amount of racing you get for your money.
What's the point of watching 2 1/2 days of Practice and Qually and then only getting 5 to 8 races when you can get up to 25 races in one day watching the Club racers. But thank God for TV as we can just see the best bits and the rest of the weekend leaves us time for us to have fun on our bikes. |

WSBK, what's that? Ducati based one-make series?

AS an italian fan, I see that in MotoGp there are Rossi, Biaggi and Capirossi, in WSBK Pierfrancesco Chili: with the maximun esteem and respect for Chili, I have to say there's no comparison.

For me personally its Moto GP - just, it the racing isnt quite as good as it is in WSBK but I dunno theres just something more appealing to me about Moto GP - perhaps that the bikes are better. But anyway, neither Moto GP or WSBK is my favourite bike racing series, watch BSB this year and see some real racing.

I voted Motogp but if a few manufacturers returned to Superbikes as well as a few big name riders i'd vote superbike, mainly cause you get closer racing and alot more than 2 or 3 race winners per season!

WSBK bike far.
Moto GP really just doesn't offer much to me. WSBK racing is something else, and thats what makes a series for me |
