I always thought that the hondas were slightly underpowered? T
The MGs were under powered with the rev limited v6, but using the v4 seems to give the car a greater stability under braking, not sure if its quicker? Proton have had an excellent straight line speed, so is this the most powerful engine? |

Being picky I know, but it's not a V4, it's an in-line 4.
The 307 is now definately the slowest car in a wonky line, believe me I think the general belief is the MG & the Honda's (Arena & TD [ex-Arena]) have the most powerful engines, whilst the Vauxy is more a good all-rounder |

Re the MG, in simple terms the engines more "revy" shall we say, whereas the V6 was a bit lazy out of 1st gear corners.

The vaux was always a don on the brakes, and control, the MG of old and the Hondas were weak in that department. It seems that they've got it sorted now though!

The Alfa of Hodgetts was fastest in a straight line yesterday at Brands but that could be simply because its been setup that way.
