Curiosity Killed the Cat

Hrmmmm....

It's a bit of a slow time of year, so I'll start this thread.

On my way to work this morning, a rather large truck went roaring through the intersection in front of me, heading north out of Brisbane. And I could have sworn that it was the Betta Electrical truck... except all of the signage was covered up in undercoat grey.

What's going on here?? Is there a rocket range somewhere north of Brisbane, or has the truck been sold??

Anybody care to speculate while I go and have a nap?

Signed,
Curious

Maybe not a Rocket Range, but a similarly barely used site just north of Brisbane.

At the risk of being boring, perhaps it is off to get its 2005 livery applied ?

Now that is a far too logical explanation.

Especially for a motorsport Forum

Yeah! Stop being logical. You're hurting my head

<-- the state of my head

Where were we...

Ah yes. Perhaps Team Betta Electrical will become more 888 racing and less Betta Electrical

With such as Lowndes on board, they'd surely want to be very much "Betta Electrical" wouldn't you think?

888 have said that with Lowndes on next year there will be a new paint scheme, and other additions, and Betta electrical have increased there support of the team, but a lot of that hinged on Lowndes.
I'd say either the Trucks been returned to Daimler Chrysler(I think they own them) Or its off to have a new paint scheme and deck out done.
But I do like the theory of the Rat and Max going wild in it!!!

As part of the engine deal with SBR they are required to drive deep into the Cape York Peninsula and collect the crates of "go fast" engine parts that have been covertly flown in from the USA and air dropped deep in the rainforest up there ? The primer is actually an updated version of the latest design of "chameleon" camouflage that was tested at Woomera by Dynamik. When it was spotted it was merely adjusted to the grey of the bitumen it was on, but when it hits the rainforest will morph into various shades of green....

Hope that is more to your liking Uncle Cranker and NickoGP

Conspiracy theory number 2. Steve Richards pictured in Daily telegraph today with Simon Evans in TTR gear. Could be heading up Toyotas challenge or shifting to rally......

Truck would be off to get the new livery done as was revealed last year.
Has anybody seen the DJR truck being re -done for the west point colours? Im sure they get their paint work done at Glindeman Signs just out of Beenleigh right near Edens Landing??
