Looks like Quaife are making a bid to enter the British GT's, another manufacturer - surely good for the series..
(4WD if I remember correctly - good in the wet!!) |

Good stuff, I did read they were one of the prospective Interactive Sportscar peeps, so the more of those that commit to British GT's the better.
Maybe if there aren't enough cars the ISC will fold and we can have Brookspeed Vipers, NCK Marcos's, West Surrey Racing NSX's and Atomic Kitten Racing (god help us!) Corvettes in the British GT's along with the rest. Fingers crossed. |

Unfortunatly the Quaife will have to be in 2WD form and it looks like they may join the ISC not BGT!

The news I had (this week), was that they're trying for British Gt's rather than ISC - but depends if the car is a GT1 or GT2..
Perhaps that issue has been settled.. anyway, another manufacturer is good news!! |

British GT's
The british GT championship has been running for the past 7 or 8 years, last year the decision was made to drop GT1 and concentrate on GT2 and GT3 racing (called GT and GTO). The championship went from strength to strength, with Vipers (GT2 & GT3), a TVR Speed 12, Listers, Marcos's (GT2 & GT3), 911's (GT2 and GT3R) etc, and provided soem really good racing. Halfway through last year the Interactive Sports Car championship was announced, which aimed for 11 2 car teams of different GT cars, to be run especially for Interactive Television. There appears to be lots of cash behind this series looking at the teams it has attracted, but so far I haven't seen a calander or a definative entrants list, but it does appear to have pulled some of the top teams out of British GT's, weakening that series. Any other comments? |

British GTs may have lost 3 or 4 teams , but it will still be better than ever , and much better than the ISC.
Lets hope the ISC fails. Quaife will be a major boost for the MAIN GT series in the UK. |

It strikes me that this ISC sham is only going to harm GT racing in this country.
If its such a good idea to have this sort of access to sports car racing, why not tie up with a championship thats already succesful? DOH!!!! |
