Excellent news for the Brute guys. Nice calender and coverage by Channel 9 is interesting after being dumped by 10 for even more v8 coverage (because we know we dont enough of it at the moment)

The CAMS National Championship is really shaping up to be one helluva of a show in 06. Great variety of categories and appearing in 5 states is a great start for year 1.

The Utes pulled a fair chunk of the crowds when they were with PROCAR.
Combine that with some really good categories on the CAMS schedule, and it's looking like a ripper series. 2 rounds each at Eastern Creek and Oran Park and a round at Wakefield.....that's pretty good for us NSW fans. I'm looking forward to it. Shame the final round clashes with the final of the AMRS...

And a NC round here in NZ this early this year will be fantastic for the profile of the category, there are some pretty high profile teams with Team Brock, Allan Grice Racing etc.

Our local v8 utes team Coopers Pale Ale Racing is going all out next year preparing 3 new Ford utes but the team isnt sure on sponsorship yet but for certain McAlister Ford will be on the utes. Lets hope they have a better Clipsal 500 this year as 2 of the utes were trashed in that turn 1 pile up i know the local smash repairer was very busy and that hurt the team for the next couple of rounds.
