New Williams aero package debut today at Jerez...
I wonder what the new areo package will consist of?
There were rumours which Sam Micheal has denied, that they will abandon the tusk-nose... |

I don't see any reason why he would deny that only for us to see the evidence a few days later.
Most likely the tusks will remain. |

By next year, tusks will be gone and no major team will be using the twin keel.

Ferrari have ignored the twin keel and they have clearly been the class of the field when it comes to aero. Teams will hopefully realise that the twin keel is the wrong way to go. As for the tusks, they just look to clumsy to keep.
P.S I have absolutely zero qualifications in any sort of aero engineering, and my opinions are based on very basic logic....follow the leader. |

I hope that somebody sticks with the twin-keel, tusks, or some other aero innovation... following the leader by adopting his previous design means that unless his next one is a flop, you aren't going to beat him...

Yup. Williams are with the twin-keel and tusk. The modified car is supposed to feature a considerable different apperance so the FW26 seen today might not necessarily be the finished product.

I see they've gone for Ferrari/BAR mini wings on the airbox, and the s/pods look a bit different too ??

Yup. But its mini rear wing, and unlike the mini wings for Ferrari and BAR.

Well, according to that site the old car is in Jerez testing, the new one will only have a 50km shakedown before going straight into the Magny Cours race weekend.

Looks like it has a new wing across the rear at the bottom of the engine cover similar to BAR's, as well.

That's been there for the last few GPs, Autosport were detailing it in the technical section back in Monaco.
