dale should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

I have gust started racing a car in what us
australians call dirt curcut. it is raced on a dirt track that is between 900-1200 metres long and is like a small F1 circut.
I,d like advice on the best setup of suspenion and front wheel alignment.
the car is a holden (gm to you yanks) Commadore vb 1979 4.2 ltr V8 that's about 1200 kg. I'm doing it on a budget and have made little change from the original car I'v cept the original power steering. thanks Dale

From a circuit racing point of view I would suggest running the fronts at 30 mins toe-in. Reduce the caster by approx 1 degree and put about 2.5 degs of negative camber on.

As to suspension I would probably run a semi soft set-up to cope with the lumps and bumps. A good front anti-roll bar would also help. And a strut brace.
