Croft - 11/12 September (facilities)
I'm in Grp1 Touring Cars at Croft this weekend and I'm making a fairly long journey up on the Fri evening. Could some kind sole let me know if Croft has:
a) 240v hookup in the paddock b) Nice(ish) showers This will sway my decision as to whether I sleep in the truck or get a B&B. Ta |

Yes and no. Or is it no and yes? Of course it could be no and no or indeed yes and yes.
Sod it Andrew, get a B&B. |

There are some power points scattered around the paddock and the showers leave a lot to be desired although one normally gets hot. If you are camping and arrive late, don't do what one of our friends did and pitch your tent on the runway

Yes indeed my RS1600i will be making an appearance.
Whilst I would love to B&B I have a couple of things to take account of: - My transport is a 7.5 tonne truck so popping out to a B&B is not straightforward. - I have a heater/tv/double bed and some home comforts in the truck but the generator makes a racket so 240v is preferable - Cost of a B&B for 2 nights (why o' why did BARC make it a 2 day event for 1 race?) |

Yes there a re power points depending on where you are placed, power runs along the star finish straight all the way down to Cleaveux. Of the showers use the one on the left! I would say they are only as bad as the others in this country!

Apguy - we're paying £25 per person per night b&b at King's Head Darlington. Hope it has some good beer!
You could always beg a lift. |

Thanks for the advice chaps. I'm staying in the truck on Fri night but on Sat my mate Rick (BMW M5-kumho championship) is kindly giving me transport to a B&B in Darlington. It could well be the same place as Carerra!
