Interesting temperature shift over the 2 days, if they practice & qualify in the heat, then have the temperatures drop for the evening race, it could make setting the cars up difficult to say the least.

We're going to try and get there around 5ish, Is it best to take a rental car out to the track or taxi? Trying to get everything straitened out before thursday morning when our flight leaves. If I don't have to rent a car that would be best.

This website states...
"There is public transportation from The Strip which is recommended." But I can't confirm that. Perhaps call your hotel? They probably have their own shuttle. |

Thinking out loud...
We don't seem to be overly familiar with LVMS. Suppose we walk through Gate-E and there's no beer tent immediately nearby? I'd hate to have us spread out and waiting at two different places! And so, at Gate-E, if there is no beer stand in the immediate vicinity, let's begin walking toward Gate-F and meet at the first stand we happen upon. In other words, as you walk in though E, hang a left. |

I'm going to that autograph session. That's gonna be cool. I have to get Patrick to sign my new jeans and t-shirt. If anyone else from here is gonna go to that just look for my crazy outfit...I won't have it on but I'll be getting it signed!! I'm saving it for race day!!

Question:
Are the "CC Fanatic" tickets good for Friday admission? I'm going to try to talk a few of my cousins into going both days, but I won't bother if we need to buy more tickets. Somebody RSVP please, I'll be leaving soon... Did you know... That it is legal in Vegas to drink alcohol in a vehicle, provided you are not the driver? |

The LVMS website assures, "This paddock pass also will be good for practice and qualifying on Friday," but fails to mention anything about admission.
