Muggeridge confirmed on a second Ten Kate Superbike next year.

Likely riders in the Ten Kate Supersport team are (According to Fox Sports coverage) Charpentier and Fujiwara.

Corser looking elsewhere, possibly to Corona Alstare, who are also talking to Haga.

Jurgen van de Goorbergh will leave Supersport team Yamaha Italia at the end of this season. He said he would like to move up to WSBK. Any chance he gets there?

Was rumoured that Lavilla was chatting to Batta and Suzuki at the weekend, they are bound to come back rather than anyone else. Not sure about Honda, KAwasaki and Yamaha at a works elvel, might get a few semi works teams though.
Think Corser on a GSXR would be good, unfortunately I just don't think the FP1 can develop enough power to compete, even if they went back to basics with it, and Petronas are not gonna want to keep propping up the top ten, they need a huge leap in power, 30bhp or something and it aint gonna come.
Feel sorry for them actually, if that bike had been arounf 5 years ago then things might have been different.

If Andrew Pitt can't get a GP ride, do you think he could move up to SBK?
My personal opinion (not, as many of you know, as that is very a) reliable b) worth very much) is that Yamaha probably won't do anything WSBK related, I got the feeling from one of the Aussie MCN interviews with Rainey is that they are 105% behind MotoGp - but as they might win the title this year...
Suzuki? The GSX seems to be a good bike (Doing well in the national comps from what i've seen?)

Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki will probably all make semi-works entries if nothng else, but I don't think Yamaha have much to gain from it - they're doing so well in MotoGP, and the domestic championships haven't gone their way this year.

If Suzuki enter, I guess Alstare would be teh ideal partners, with Lavilla or Kagayama on one bike and someone like Martin or Nannelli on the second.

Kawasaki are apparently being linked to Sanchini and Walker, which doesn't seem like a great lineup in my book - Mauro's a journeyman at best. Maybe Scott Smart or Eric Bostrom?

Which Kawasaki team? Bertocci are meant to be getting some more backing from Kawasaki Europe next year. Apart from a small bit in AMCN, i haven't heard much more about Steve Martin to PSG-1, only that Borciani has signed a contract with the Sterilgarda Ducati team for next year and they need a second rider with money (why they'd sign him and not Martin ) Nannelli was linked with them as far back as the Brands Hatch round, but since then has switched to NCR Ducati, so anything is possible.

Yamaha was all set to go in WSB with a few works backed teams, until Japan said they wouldn't contribute any funds. How many Yamaha's are on the grid next year now depends on how much alone Yamaha Europe is willing to tip in. The best we could probably hope for is 1 bike each from Yamaha Italia and Yamaha Germany (with Kev Curtain), along with their Supersport efforts.

Any word on Klaffi Honda moving up?
Any word on Renegade Ducati switching makes? It was even rumoured on the Australian telecast that the team may even close down if they lost Haga!

And what was Neil Hodgson doing in the Imola paddock i wonder.....

Trying to hide his embarassment at his poor MotoGP season, and remind hismelf that he was once a Somebody?

Has Nannelli signed for NCR, or is that still a rumour? Good news if he has - he looks like a good talent. What do Sterilgarda run this year?

Hodgson isnt doing that badly IMO - sure hes not setting the world alight but hes not doing a bad job, especially when u consider its his first year in Moto GP and is on a year old Ducati. Oh and hes just qualifed 10th, provisionally for Qatar, and Xaus is on provisional pole. Not bad going by Neil, not bad at all.

Would you praise Edwards for qualifying 10th if Gibernau was on Prov Pole? No, so why praise Hodgson? The 2003 Ducati is a very different biek to this year's, and it obviously suits different circuits more. Also, the rookies lose the disadvantage of not knowing the track when it's a new one.

If u want to look like it like that then fair enough, but Hodgson hasnt had that bad a season IMO, just take a look at the points standings, Xaus and Hodgson are pretty close together, closer than Gibernau and Edwards...

Well is Hodgeson doing better than, say Hoffman is to Nakano? But that doesn't matter I guess, Superbikes still put on a great show, and look to be making the first steps towards mid ninties greatness so he's not copping out, there is a pretty heavily talented field in there.

And at least he had a go...eh Foggy?

Nanelli rode for them last weekend, and i presume again this weekend at Magny Cours.

Sterigarda sponsers the DFX Ducati team running Martin and Borciani this season.

Fair enough - forgive my ignorance, we don't get much news on WSBK in Britain, we didn't seem much of him during the coverage (only highlights for that one), and all these red Ducatis look the same at first.

Didnt u see the races from Imola LIVE Boots? It was all on British Eurosport LIVE as far as I can remember, and as for not getting much news on WSBK I can think of quite a few sites and newspapers/magazines that are normally up to date, not least motorcyclenews.com and crash.net.

Oh and FYI WSBK is LIVE all day tommorow too, from Magny Cours on Eurosport. Oh and the Superpole is also on today LIVE.

Considering that I currently live on around £25 a week once food and bills are paid for, and I share with only one sport-hating (and satellite-dish-hating) person, I don't have Eurosport. I get to see their racing coverage occasioanlly, but nowhere near often enough.

Sébastien Gimbert full time WSBK in 2005? :

(perhaps also an opening here for Steve Martin)

That'd be good news for Steve Martin, who must be unhappy at losing his DFX ride.

Alstare-Suzuki-Kagayama looks likely for next year.
