Adam - the problem with going to widescreen F1 is that the UK is one of the few countries where the technology is widespread.
Other international sporting events have been produced in such a way that national broadcasters can choose a 4:3 or 16:9 feed, though. |

F1 digital was great I remember watching the free view of 1st Prctice at Hungary and I remember riding along with Anthony Davidson, looking at his rear wing!
Is the current display on ITV what F1 digital had. I remember when they had an experiment in '02 Indianapolis. |

Luke - some races are produced by FOM (a watered down version of the old F1 digital) but most are produced by the national "host" broadcaster.
