Oops. I forgot he was a late entry, but I'd put him 3rd or 4th tops.

In all likelihood, if they all get through the heats and semis (that is a rather large if) I would imagine that the top four should comprise Wills, Moore, Dempsey and Foster in one order or another. The big unknown is the American fella...

Noel Dunne's going to be out? Ooooh cool!
Well Dunne has gone like a bomb any time he's been out this year, so I definitely wouldn't discount him. Mike Edgar's been getting his form back as well. No Matt Gilmore this year? |

No Matt Gilmore, but a number of the Irish lot, including two Dempseys and a Dwyer.

So, do we think Joey Foster in his 89 Reynard be able to beat Wills and Moore?
What about Foster vs Lay vs Kestenbaum in class C? |

On the whole it was a good weekend and the weather gods smiled on us as the heavy rain didn't fall until the days racing had finished.

I've just realised that I predicted that Foster would win the Kents and Clarke the Zetecs.
I'm good, aren't I? |

Presumably you didn't make these prediction at the Tote, otherwise you would have been in the Kentagon buying the drinks last night.

I was far too busy to be doing things like placing bets! In any case I couldn't have got the win double as I believe they were only taking bets on the secondary 1800 competition.
By the way, there is much more Festival coverage to be added so keep checking back! |
