that's just a D3D glitch.
Nothing you can do.

Are you using the new drivers? If you are, revert back to the old 45.xx (It's possible to fix this problem without reverting with your drivers, but you'll have to look for it on the RSC forums).

firstly, in the core.ini

[OpenGL]
MirrorsEvery=4

That's the mirror frame rate. (between 1 and 8, 8 being slowest, 1 being fastest)

AND, NVIDIA only (I think)
If they're not showing what you'd expect, i.e. they show bits of the sky, trees, and not what's behind you, you need to right-click on your desktop, go to properties>settings>advanced>GeForce 2 Integrated GPU (whatever your version of that tab is) and in the OpenGL settings make sure buffer-flipping mode is set to 'use block transfer'.
With graphics drivers 56.72 or later, this option isn' available, and you'll need to use a program like RivaTuner (get it from www.guru3d.com ) to do it. Again in that program it'll be in the OpenGL settings, I can't remember exactly where, but you will find it soon enough.

But can I just say that as pirenzo mentions the 56.72s, if you have a reasonably up to date card, IMO, these are definitely the drivers to use - not the latest issues.
