VESRIX Update
This may sound a lot like promotion for another website. But I personally believe it to be an important resource for the internet racing community.
For a while, over a year, VESRIX was stagnant, but over the last two months, 2003 and 2004 as far as it goes, have been added to the site and the associated drivers profiles updated, so it is now again, the complete repository of V8Supercar event results. But for anyone willing to help, there are a few driver profiles missing some detail, any help would bemuch appreciated. Missing home state/nation Peter Brown Barry Cassidy Steve Coulter Graham Crawford Neal Crow Michael Olsen Michael Turner Kerry Wade Missing birthdate Ray Ayton Alf Barbagallo Craig Bastian Peter Best Graham Blythman Peter Brown Chris Butler Barry Cassidy Wayne Cooper Graham Crawford Neal Crow Phill Foster Ken Habul Mathew Hunt Ian Love Scott March Wesley May Bob McDonald Andy McElrea Neil McFadyen Rob Middleton Norris Miles Phillip Nichols David Skillender Tim Toth Michael Turner Jason Wylie Greg Young yours |

laser: you missed my point.
You may have noticed that VESRIX is a database of results. Not a lot of room for comment or forums. It was intended that VESRIX be a resource that all could use, and the internet was merely the best medium for publishing it. I would hope that VESRIX would be considered as an important resource. If you feel what I've said is nothing more than a website promotional, then I've failed in my original post to convey my intent and I would then invite the moderators to step in and delete the thread. |

And why is vesrix any different to RaceTime, RaceNews or Natsoft? All of these have had threads promoting them and all have been pulled because the 'Forum Rules' forbid them.
But then again - it would seem lately that now this is becoming a commercial site that anything goes. So lets start promoting - let's see - Adult Matchmakers, the ACA, CAMS, Bob Jane - all of these help promote various things that you can argue don't benefit from advertising. One rule for some, another for everyone else? |

Jtel: I've appealed directly to one of the moderators to delete the thread if it is felt this contravenes the forums rules.
On topic - Crash, been told that Wade is a kiwi. Can you confirm? |

I wanted to just add the reason why i moved this thread to clarrify the situation.
While VERSIX is a great resource as pointed out by Falcadore this post was a promotion of said website. I will however quote this from the forum FAQ's "We do not permit users to promote their site or to advertise their service on these forums - they are here for the purpose of discussion about motorsport - not as an advertising billboard. As a sign of good faith we don't mind you posting URL's to useful sites, but only where they appropriate to a particular topic. If it isn't appropriate, you must post in the 'Cool Sites' forum or not at all. We specifically do not permit you to place links in your forum 'signature.' If you do persist on posting links to a site, be it your own or one belonging to someone else, your post(s) will be removed - we're not here to provide free advertising for your site. If you would like to discuss ways in which we can get traffic to your site, please feel free to contact us for a copy of our Advertising Rate Card." so basically I moved it here where it belongs , but of course pay attention to where it says "As a sign of good faith we don't mind you posting URL's to useful sites, but only where they appropriate to a particular topic."
