Snow yes, -30c no. That is too cold to snow. I beleive our mean tempurature in the city in December and January is right around 0c. The difference from the ski resorts is that the city sits against, not in the mountains with the airport at about 1,400m and the top of Snowbird/Alta at 3,500m 30 minutes away. The temps stay about the same but the snowfall at the airport averages maybe 2.5m per year vs. 13m + per year at the resorts. No better place to live if you ski. |

A little off-topic, but for all my fellow Canucks and whoever is lucky enough to be visiting us during the chilly months of winter; here's a good way to get your motor-racing fix.
http://www.casc.on.ca/iceRacing.php Best thing to do with winter is to embrace it. Once again Merry Christmas. |

I'm sorry this is late but I dont celebrate christmas, but I hope that everyone had the greatest christmas ever. I hope that the new year brings success in what ever endevours everyone wishes to partake. I wish everyone the best of luck and hope that you will all be around one more year, as this is the only place where I can have an educated conversation on Champ Car.
