Honda, a Superpower?

Money is the name of the game in F1, and Honda seem to have a good bit to throw around. Does anyone else think they should buy Jordan or BAR and give TGF anything he wants to drive for them. It would propel them to the heights of Mclaren, BMW and Ferrari straight away, and we all know that is where the REAL money is.Just an interesting idea i suppose

At the momentr Honda are only good in CART. Their F1 engine is not that good. Honda should concentrate on Jordan and challenge for wins. BAR are going nowhere fast. (Villeneuve, get out, while people remember how talanted you really are)

Honda has given up on the current engine; they're developing a wide angle V Ã* la Renault, with a timetable aimed at competitiveness in 2004. Even Michael Schumacher can't wave a magic wand over it and give it more horsepower immediately. Anyway, I don't think Schumey alone would get notably better performance out of the BAR, and given its lack of reliability he wouldn't get many more points either.

Honda would have to buy out the entire brain trust at Ferrari -- Schumacher, Todt, Brawn and Byrne -- if they want better results. It would be cheaper to just buy Ferrari from Fiat.

Honda are calling it a day in the CART series, so that they can develop the F! power plant...They will suceed..Remember McLaren Honda anyone? eatpac is correct Honda are taking a leaf out of Renault's book! There must be something to it..

I am not sure if Jordan is the way to go for Honda in the long run...Maybe they should buy BAR and make the chassis and engine work like it needs too..

I bet they will buy bar...

I bet they will buy bar, at the lowest price of course. Their engine is currently real ****, and I don't see why if not because they are playing dirty tricks.
Anyway, I truly despise their attitude this year, and am caring of them only 'coz of Jacques driving for them...and they're ruining his career! Puah ....What a shame! They've lost their face!
What they will do in the future without Jacques doesn't interest me, and I hope they'll be dead last!

you need to sit back, relax, and have a nice beer, like Fosters or XXXX.
There can't be that much wrong with the Honda engine if they put one car on the second row, and another on the third row at Silverstone. I know you like Jcques, but let's not blow a gasket at the BAR Zero Ranch.

Perhaps whoever it was that stole the information from Renault sold the information to a rep for Honda, they found it so interesting, radical, and revolutionary, that they have abandoned their CART operation to concentrate on its development?
