What did everyone think of Britany Spears?
Was she trying to look like Elvis or Evel Knievel? Oh well, she still puts the "SCHW" in schwing. Even though I am a Diet Coke man, I would drink a Pepsi with her. I think she started quite a few engines at Daytona before she called it out.

 But really, what's with this? Is Britney now 'into' NASCAR, or was this some stunt to try to attract a few more viewers and tap into a new demographic?

I think Pepsi sponsored the race and therefore get to chose who will be Grand Marshall.
I think the ones who really got a kick out of her were the kids of the drivers/teams. She was at the driver's meeting and apparently kids who never went to the meetings before decided to show up and get an autograph. I have no problems with her being there, better an artist or entertainer than some sad old political hack. |

I had no problem with her. She said "gentlemen, start your engines," they did, the race was run, and that was it. Another race in the books.
