Elm Forest, 4.1 miles

My first new track in the new My Tracks place
Actually, I only really put this one together because I've been playing with tree shadows on the track
Looks cool eh?
Maybe I'll get round to polishing it up to a higher standard later.

EDIT: sorry, not as good as I hoped, jpg compression too high
That's one down the pan LOL.

Still, you can see the basic outline of the track, whadya think?

I don't know, I don't like it that much personally...

There are too many long fast corners...

It doesn't look too original in my opinion either, its a mix with Bahrain, Sepang and Monza...

No, its not original at all, as I said, it was to test the tree shadow effects that afterall didn't come out very well

Why don't you post a bigger version, P? Might bring out the shadow effect better.

Happy new year, by the way, guys!

Here's a closeup of the tree effect thing.

and here's another track I made to show it (this one I did before the above track, its not very complete as you can see, but it has an idea of gradient. Highest point is at the top, lowest at the bottom.)

I kinda like the tree shadows, maybe you can use those in your later tracks.

And that second track you posted looks a lot better than the first one. Much less twisty.

Well, I like it more, but I was letting my imagination run wild with me a bit. The main straight at the bottom between the kink and the hairpin would be a little over 1000m, and you'd be pretty much flat out from the hairpin in the top right until the end of that straight anyway. I was imagining 240mph at the end
