Happy Birthday :)
the CCWS is 1 year old today.
One year ago the courts ruled in favour of CCWS taking control of the CART world series and one year on they are still kicking (despite the knockers) Ok so fair enough they have struggled and of course are not back to the great days of grandure , but they are still here and with a healthy heartbeat. Happy Birthday CCWS and I hope there are many more

ummm...sorta...The Series was called CART under Pook's reign, but after Fedex pulled out, they couldn't call the Championship, The CART Fedex Championship anymore, so I think they called the championship, CCWS. Its really the 1 year anniversery of OWRS, not CCWS. OWRS is a series name, CCWS is a championship name.

Company Christmas party lastnight, thought I'd also use the occassion to celebrate OWRS' birthday.
It's on the newswire that five security personnel had to remove an as-yet-unnamed baker not only from the premises, but from the city of Windsor altogether. The Ontario government apparently picked up the tab for a taxi ride to get this person home - in Chatham. Happy Birthday, OWRS!

We always hold it after Christmas, as that is the season when our company makes the most profit. This year it was postponed a few weeks until a dispute between Windsor Raceway and the Ontario government was resolved.
You'd think it unlikely that every Christmas party, every year would have the same person being the hot-topic on Monday morning. Company parties just wouldn't be the same without me. Nobody was harmed in the making of this commercial. |
