A few notes:
The C65's "lower passenger rollhoop" is actually the secondary rollover structure - you only see the lack of a full passenger rollhoop on hybrids. There's nothing that says you can't have a full width rollhoop, rather than two individual ones. Only that it has to be symmetrical along the centreline of the car. There won't be any long tail cars. Overhang is strictly limited. I actually think the raised sides look okay, myself. But then again I don't like splitters, even though I know their purpose. Just seems to me like it's a cheat... Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing the cars basically end at the rear wheels a la Porsche 908 or Alfa Romeo T33/3 or McLaren M8D. |
