Snetterton last week!
Hello
Went to Snetterton as promised. It chucked it down all morning. In fact most of the day. The only dry session ran between 16.30 and 17.00. It was the first day out for our 16 year old Mk 2 Golf. It's been lovingly prepared for the track with a few essential jobs to do. Money hey the root of all mechanical stoppages. The car and the two drivers survived the day. The car was fantastic. It lasted all day and never coughed up once. Even though we made it visit the grass and spin occassionally. What's nice to know is that we haven't even started on the handling and power stuff yet. That means that there is a mile of fun still to come. Can't wait for retirement to set in. Looks like I've found another widow maker. Yee ha!

How much wet running did you do? (In this country wet running is always a risk).

Pootles in the puddles
 Man it rained nearly all day. It stopped about 1 and a half hours before the chequered and only dried out for the last 30mins. Bloody good fun tho. Wet driving skills being a good one to work on. Especially at Snetterton, bags of run off. I don't mind the wet myself. I think that everyone should be made to do it. Oh! we do!!!!!!!!!!!! It's England!
