John Watson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Barc @ Cadwell Park

A big thank you to all who helped out at Cadwell Park today. 8 races with six having maximum grids was always going to be a challenging day.

Having basked in glorious sunshine this morning, and endured the rain and hailstorm in the afternoon, you still managed to get the meeting completed with no curtailments of race distances. Deaspite the fact that we lost one hour after Race 6 due to the rivers that were running down several parts of the circuit, we still finished at a reasonable time. We thank you for your patience and dedication.

Thank you John for the lunch time weather forecast, slightly out but still, you said it would rain before the afternoon was out.

Westfield's and MX5's in the wet oh what spins we had.

Looking forward to my next visit to Cadwell.

I can honestly say for those that didn,t go that they missed some fantastic racing. Can,t pick a highlight cos there were so many!!!
Pity about the rain cos we,d have been on our way home at about five without it.
Thank,s once again Midland Rescue had a great day.

Can I just echo the other comments on the racing- some excellent grids and well behaved drivers in the dreadful conditions. What spins? We had nothing at post 2.
Also can I thank the Keystone MX5 team for allowing a couple of trainees to play with their cars in the lunchbreak. I did ask for good weather 'tho John!!! Try harder next weekend please.

Well, I only had two jobs (one more than plan, 2 more than hopes) and thanks to some expert help from a colleague it seemed much less and a lot drier than most, I guess.

The racing was good and some superb car control resulted in far fewer incidents than could have been. The last start was interesting to say the least but because of the wait and see advice often advocated and seldom practised the race ran on unabated.

Well done to all.

Here's to June, which I suspect may be a little busy with race meetings every weekend - all offers of help gratefully accepted!

A big thank you to everyone for giving me a warm, yet wet, welcome on my first visit to Cadwell and into the world of circuit marshalling. Special thanks to Joyce and Steve on Post 2 for showing me the ropes and the Keystone MX5 team that let me and fellow trainee play with it at lunch.
