I think all the friends here wish KSO(FIA?) will extend the race distance in future and I think they will do that soon.
I though short races were because of small petrol tanks, however FIA rules for S2000 cars say: "The total capacity of all the tanks may not excedeed 100 litres" (article 15.1). It wouldn´t be difficult to do more long races, if KSO wants.

Moreover this year Macau round seems to be add 1 more lap in each leg.
Hope they can make it is progress in beyond
But how packed is the Macau guia schedule? If it's very busy, the organizers cannot extend the Macau Guia b/c it will leave less time for the other races/series.

But it's good that they extended the race for another lap. Or maybe just 1 single race instead of 2 short races? But it's fairer to have 2 races b/c if a car breaks down or is damaged, perhaps they can fix it for the 2nd race. Does the S2000 rules also have a 30 minute break between the 1st and 2nd races, a la Supertouring (ST) days?

There is only a 10 minute break between the 2 races, as per all WTCC rounds.

I prefer the old format of a single 30 lap race. That's what the DTM does. Also the DTM has the single lap qualifying spectacle as well.
