Once again, a rather disappointing entry list, but I'm afraid that's been par for the course this year. Interesting to see Jon Field back in action, and I'm pleased that Liz Halliday has been signed for the rest of the season. She's having a pretty good year.

Yes, grid is thin but doesn't detract from the racing usually.
The Dyson and Champion cars represent the pinnacle of the generation and James Weaver is ace |

Yeah, the Champion vs. Dyson battle should continue to be on full display here. I'm also expecting a good tussle between Intersport and Miracle. The qualifying battle in GT1 should continue to be interesting and the GT2 contestwill be hot as usual.
edit: 19dodge/tblincoe: we need to login now to read the race reports and such? |

Thanks for that!
Nice work on the report TB. I definitely appreciated your GT1 analysis, as I had overlooked how this track could suit the MC12. I hope we see another good race from them and perhaps some fireworks in GT1. |

half of the problem with the Maserati is the language barrier. 1/2 the team doesnt speak english, and the chief engineer is American. And these US tracks are nowhere near like the ones they run in europe. Road America is one of the closest ones Europe, so we should see them a lot faster this weekend.

Yes the entry list is a little on the small side but the quality is defintely there. Any of the Dyson or Champion cars are capable of winning IMO, LMP 2 looks strong too, yes the Mazda is still a bit off of the pace, but the Intersport v Miracle battle will be something to watch out for IMO. GT1 is looking much stronger too if Portland was anything to go by, the ACEMCO Saleen is on the pace now, and not just in qualifying as it showed at Portland. The Risi MC12 will be there or there abouts too. GT2 will be a good battle between AJR, Flying Lizard and the Panoz squad as usual. Im looking forward to Road America.

Thoughts anyone on testing? What on earth is going on in GT1? What happened to Panoz (although I didn't expect them to do well this round)? Audi 1-2 in LMP1?

Lola, Audi, Lola, Audi at the front. Go Dyson 16!
Masser looking closer, and Saleen as well, so hoping that whoever wins GT1 has a challenge in doing so! robert |
